.General Foreman

Jobs at this level will be involved in setting, supervising and carrying out activities associated with NPCC construction functions, ensuring that necessary resources are available and that work is completed on schedule and to required safety and quality standards. These jobs could be located on projects, within the Operations function or in the Yard. ? Plan, organize & prioritize activities. Co-ordinate activities. Approve and supervise work plans. Proposes project support facilities. Ensures availability of tools, consumables and documentation. Co-ordinates demobilization activities. Monitors Manpower Plan & equipment usage. Estimates data input. Troubleshoots & de-bottlenecks. Mentors staff. Client contact. Procedures compliance. Motivates, trains & develops staff. Staff appraisal Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.

Superintendent

Sr. Yards Engineer

Jobs at this level are responsible for direction and coordination of site resources on less complex Projects, or as part of a substantive large Project. They are also responsible for the coordination (with PMT, Engineering, procurement and Client) of the required project resources as related to the section scope of work in order to ensure that the construction meets all client contractual requirements in the most effective and efficient manner up to the mechanical completion, and in some cases up to start-up. * Review contract. * Planning package. * Reviews Engineering documentation. * Project specific procedures. * Sub-contractor scope of work. * Client deliverables/progress plan. * Job instructions & variation proposals. * Supervises Section Engineer activities * Client approvals. * Co-ordinates activities. * Vendor deliverables. * Report preparation & invoices. * Certification activities. * Final documentation. * Lessons learned. * Estimates bids. * Compliance with HSE standards.

Port Captain

) Maintain complete set valid class & Flag state certificates for NPCC / SMC vessel. 2) Report details of all jobs and activities relative to DP vessel surveys to the DP marine superintendent. 3) Coordinate with the regulatory authorities for surveys & inspections to be conducted within the defined time frame. 4) Ensure that NPCC / SMC vessels are equipped with necessary lifesaving appliances & firefighting equipment and ensure that all are in good operating condition. 5) Ensure all vessels personnel comply with regulatory training requirements as per standards of DP training, certificates & watch keeping (STCW) 95 & NPCC / client requirement. 6) Ensure that the required manpower is available on the DP vessels at all times to execute scope of work in a safe & efficient manner. 7) Direct crew members & ensure safety measures are adhered to as per company’s HSE policy/ procedures. 8) Attend Port State, Client & MWS (Marine Warranty Survey) inspections are required 9) Ensure the daily smooth operations of NPCC / SMC DP vessels during the execution of the offshore projects on a daily basis. 10) Ensure that NPCC / SMC DP vessels are stocked with the required navigation charts, navigational publication, stationeries, NPCC manuals, clients instructions, client manuals, & Field Charts. 11) Carry out inspections on DP vessels to ensure compliance with IMCA & Client standards. 12) Compliance in accordance with company codes, IMO (International Maritime Organization) & HSE Standards.

Barge Supdt.(Floating Barges)

1. General administration and overall supervision of the barge with responsibility of all personnel and equipment onboard the barge. 2. Coordination with base for administration of the barge, progress reporting, future barge requirements and other relevant important matters. 3. Ensuring proper fuel and water supply to the barge and supporting vessels by co-coordinating with the base. 4. Ensuring periodical maintenance of barge equipment and co-ordination for their repairs, spare parts etc. 5. Control and supervision of external and internal maintenance of the barge including painting, cleaning and relevant repairs to ensure good housekeeping. 6.Suggesting to base and implementation of barge modifications for better operations of the barge and improved productivity. 7. Supervision of warehousing of stores on the barge and to ensure efficient use of available space and proper storage of all barge and project material. 8. Ensuring proper catering services to barge personnel. 9. Resolving personnel problems of the barge personnel if cannot be resolved by juniors/subordinates. 10. Scheduling of leave breaks for barge personnel ensuring that all operations are effectively carried out all the time on the barge. 11. Motivation for safety consciousness amongst all personnel on the barge and ensures that safety measures of installation procedures are implemented on the barge.

Barge Foreman

1. Responsible for all offshore construction work to be performed by the barge and controls all activities. 2. Reporting to Barge Superintendent/Filed Engineer for all matters of construction works and progress of the job. 3. Supervision of all personnel on the deck of the barge and ensures the work is performed with quality along with improved productivity. 4. Supervision of maintenance of the barge including repairs of the barge and upgrading as required. 5. Ensuring safety for all operations performed by the barge. 6. Ensuring implementation of approved installation procedures and revising the procedure while implementation as necessary in consultation with Barge Superintendent/Field Engineer. 7. Coordinates with subcontractor’s personnel and monitors their work and also provides necessary support to them. 8. Controls other foremen for performance of their work with better productivity ensuring Client’s requirements are met.
