Petro Rabigh utilizes 400,000 barrels per day of crude oil and 1.2 million tons per year of ethane as primary feedstock to produce a variety of refined petroleum products and petrochemical products. The refinery transferred from Saudi Aramco to Petro Rabigh has mainly been producing 8 million tons of heavy oil, 5.3 million tons of light oil, 3 million tons of naphtha and 2.6 million tons of kerosene annually. This refinery was upgraded to include a high olefin fluid catalytic cracking unit (HOFCC) for converting heavy and light oils to gasoline and other distillates, which added new annual capacities of 2.8 million tons of gasoline and 900,000 tons of propylene, a feedstock for petrochemical products.

Maintenance Engineer
To prepare a schedule of work and provide direction for the preparation of designs, processes and related data for very complex engineering problems to ensure that work is completed as per deadline and engineering standards. Lead analysis of data pertinent to complex engineering problems, with respect to scope, economic value, long range planning and budgetary considerations in order to support the development and formulate the basis for engineering studies in any of several basic or special engineering fields
Analytical Skills, Results orientation, Conceptualization skills, Leadership Skills, Computer skills, Review and consolidate reports on engineering studies to support management decision-making

Leader , Fire Inspection Group

Bachelor degree in Fire Protection, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Preferable to hold NFPA certificates (e.g. certified fire protection specialist, National Fire Alarm Code Certification Seminar … etc.)
Enrolled in all types of fire protection systems Testing & Inspection courses.
Minimum of 8 year experience in the fire protection equipment inspection and testing in oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supervisory positions

Lead Technician (Machine)

Locate faulty equipment, determine nature of repairs and spare parts required to work correctly. Assess resource needs and perform repairs on assigned equipment as per job specifications and drawings to minimize equipment downtime and support operations. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and ensure satisfactory repairs to minimize
equipment downtime. Prepare new or modified installations on assigned equipment after successful completing repairs and test for final acceptance to ensure proper functioning of equipment. Provide coaching to 2 to 4 Machinists (Lower Level) and supervise their work to ensure proper transfer of skills and performance as per standard codes and practices.
Coordinates work assignments and activities of the Craftsmen under his direction for compliance with Maintenance Schedules and Priorities. Deploys only required resources and performs general house-keeping and cleaning duties in the assigned work areas.

Utilities Field Operator

Basic understanding of mechanism and start/stop field operation Utilities / Refinery or Petrochemical equipment’s (e.g. Heat Exchanger, Pump, Compressor, Motor, Turbine, Manual valve, Control valve, Distillation column, Reactor, Furnace etc.)
Basic understanding of instruments and emergency shutdown system taking in charge

Specialist Engineer (Inspection)

Reports to Section Head, Engineering Inspection, and oversee and manage all Inspection Engineering Activities by the Inspection Engineers. Ensures that Inspection Engineers will attend the relevant OME team meetings. Ensure EIS Compliance, Inspection Program Implementation, Failure Investigations, Bad Actor Listing, and Reviews on OSI Program are performed by the Inspection Engineers in a timely manner.
Enforce strict compliance to industry codes and standards related to integrity inspections performed by the AIMD. Review major inspection findings and provide Engineering Support to enhance overall AIMD Quality and reputation. Ensure the relevant inspection reports (IWS and IRs) are issued with desired quality and comprehension and to expected accuracy.
Review and assess the effectiveness of Inspection Programs executed (Facility Wide) and initiate necessary revisions or alternative plans to reach the desired integrity goals without compromising the safety of the plant and quality of inspection.
Implement Cost Saving activities as per Section’s cost saving plan and managing the Sectional Operation cost with due diligent
Ensure assigned all Engineering Tasks and related activities meet corporate safety and environmental policy and standards in order to minimize risk of industrial injuries and un-wanted incidents

Sr Safety Specialist

Working closely with engineering CSFPD representative on safety & fire protection issue.
Has frequent contacts with safety engineers and consultants to identify hazards and recommend solutions to maintain an acceptable level of safety throughout company operations.
Has frequent contacts with company departments and management and occasional contact with executive management of engineering, operation and maintenance department to discuss and resolve comples safety engineering problems.
