Asset integrity Lead-Horizon Oil Sands
As a Lead member of the Horizon Asset Integrity Department you will lead a team of Engineers and Inspectors to ensure the safe, compliant, reliable operation of the fixed assets within the Horizon Upgrader. You and your team will implement a wide variety of inspection, repair, risk assessment and corrosion management technologies to ensure that our Asset Integrity Programs are executed with optimal effectiveness.
As a Geomechanics Engineering expert with the reservoir engineering team at Primrose and Wolf Lake In-Situ Oil Sands operation, you have an opportunity to directly impact commercial scale thermal operations and the overall success of Canadian Natural. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in data integration and the use of numerical modeling for reservoir geomechanics to optimize thermal operation strategies at our world class facilities with current capacity of 160,000 bbl/d thermal production.

The Labour Relations Advisor will liaise with contractors at Horizon Oil Sands for maintenance, operations and expansion projects on site, ensuring the needs of Canadian Natural are met and that the company values are adhered to in our dealings with both organized and non-organized labour. Labour Relations Manager
Reporting to the VP, HR & LR, the Labour Relations Manager is accountable for the development and implementation of labour relations (LR) strategies, policies, collective agreement administration and processes to support Horizon’s construction, maintenance and operations needs today and into the future.
The Field Operator will contribute to the successful operation and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants by performing tasks to optimize both processes and process equipment.
Operator – Bitument Production
The Operator will be responsible for operating the plant in a safe and efficient manner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the project by ensuring that Canadian Natural meets its planned production, quality and environmental targets. You will interact with several different teams in order to create a collaborative work environment, determine resource allocation and become an expert on equipment, operating procedures and emergency protocol.
