Ma’aden was wholly owned by the Saudi Government before 50% of its shares were floated on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) in 2008. Ma’aden was formed by Royal Decree in 1997 to facilitate the development of Saudi Arabia’s mineral resources.Ma’aden has expanded its activities to cover phosphate. In 2007, it founded “Ma’aden’s Phosphate” as a joint venture with SABIC – a leading Saudi company in petrochemical area. It invested in an operational facility in Ras Al-Khair Port, the industrial city of the Eastern Province. As well, Ma’aden’s Phosphate runs Jalamid site, which locates 150kmin the west of the city of Arar, northern of KSA. It contains phosphate mine and plant that produces about 11.6 million tons of the raw material that is transferred through railway to Ras Al-Khair.
Staff Engineers, Maintenance
-Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering discipline (i.e., Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering).
-Minimum of 8 to 12 years experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment in a highly automated, high-volume, high-tech manufacturing environment. Must have direct experience managing a team of Equipment Engineers and Maintenance Technicians in a 24/7, high volume manufacturing environment.
Managers,Procurement Process & System
-To ensure that the Oracle Requisition to Pay and Materials Management Systems are correctly configured and deployed to meet the requirements of the 4 MAP businesses, and that they are operated, maintained and upgraded within the established guidelines and policies.
-To monitor the ongoing performance and efficiency of the above systems and the set of Procurement and Stores Business processes, and for assisting Users to satisfactorily resolve System and process problems. The PDSM is responsible for driving a program of continuous process improvement, to enable the MAP business to achieve world class process efficiency levels.
-To Develop a clear understanding of MAP Procurement and Stores business process requirements through close consultation with Maintenance, Operations, Finance and Procurement staff across the 4 MAP businesses
-To maintain the functional integrity of Oracle and other systems used by MAP Procurement to ensure they transact business transactions in the time required. Develops appropriate KPI’s and other indicators to confirm the integrity and performance of Oracle and other systems.
-Fosters and maintains close relationships with key system users (Power Users) in order to monitor system and process performance. Serves as the Procurement representative on cross-functional Business Process Teams, and on the Oracle System co-ordination committees.
